The Bleeding Deacon Public House

Nestled between Simple Pleasures Boutique and private residences, The Bleeding Deacon "elevates bar food" (RFT, http://bit.ly/gF4jpQ). Delicious and strange twists on the usual are the norm here - like their curly dog and lemon-coriander hummus.

Market Pub House

Market Pub House occupies the former space of Racanelli's Cucina, which occupied the former space of the Market on the Loop. The menu sounds better than average, with a lot of options for those into vegetables.

Hanley's Grille and Tap

Hanley's is located in West County Center, between Nordstrom and JCPenny, but don't let its mall location fool you into thinking that it's a national chain! Their extensive menu is made from scratch in-house, and looks fantastic. Join us!

Mattingly Brewing Co.

Mattingly is a fairly new brewpub that opened up on S. Jefferson, and they have some great beers on tap as well as tasty small and large plates, pizzas, and sandwiches. Why don't you join us?

Tip Top Food & Spirits

You've hopefully had your fill of turkey (and/or vegetable dishes) and now it's time to start eating again. This restaurant was suggested to us by Kimberly, and we're happy to give it a shot. That's right, we take suggestions. Share your favorites with us and we'll gladly put them on the list if they're open on Mondays and we've never been there before.

The Stable

Due to the holiday weekend, we're going to do dinner on Tuesday instead of Monday. I know, it's a radical departure, but it does let us go somewhere that's typically closed on a Monday. I've heard great things about their drink list and a number of varied reports on the food. I've been curious to try it out, and hopefully we'll get a good turnout and come away with some solid food data.

Buffalo Brewing Co.

Buffalo Brewing Company is a new restaurant with a menu reminiscent of many brewpubs. They brew their own beer, have a salad bar, and appear to need a new web site and high quality photos (won't you tell them that, please?). They also sounded very happy to have our group in on Monday, so please join us as we dine there together. Oh yeah, and print out this coupon and remember to bring it for 10% off.

Lester's Sports Bar and Grill

Lester's is a heavily sports-themed restaurant located in charming Ladue. You won't find a rowdy crowd or a smoky atmosphere, but instead a very open, bright, and fresh experience with a ton of HD television sets broadcasting all manner of sporting events. One reviewer wrote, "it looks more or less exactly like what you'd expect a sports bar in Ladue to look like." So there you have it, and we're going on Monday.

Corwin's Bar & Grill

Corwin's serves traditional bar and grill food - expect burgers, sandwiches, some fried favorites, and probably some salad options too. Corwin's used to be across Brentwood from REI, but it recently moved to its new digs in Olivette.

Nel's

We're going back to the basics - traditional St. Louis South City food that includes such crowd-pleasing favorites like the slinger and liver and onions. Other, less interesting food is of course available. Join us as we have a good time with the purple hippo at Nel's.

Alandale Brewing Company

I read a review of this place and it has starters, pastas, entrees, and most importantly dutch apple bread pudding. This microbrewery/pub makes eight varieties of beer on-site, including a lager, wheat ale, and stout. Sounds good to me!

Taft Street Restaurant and Bar

It's a bit curious that the address of the Taft Street Restaurant and Bar isn't on Taft Street (and in fact it's Taft *Avenue* and Gravois), but I'm willing to overlook that - and you should, too. This is a Bosnian restaurant that's gotten great reviews and has won awards. We haven't been Bosnianing in a while, so join us for some circle bread with a circle of friends!

City Grille & Brewhaus

This place was suggested by Kimberly, and it looks like it'll be a fun place to go as a large group. The restaurant occupies what used to be the St. Louis branch of the Playboy Club, and the fixtures and furnishings seem more vintage than retro.

What really matters for a Dinner Club outings is the food and company, so please join and help make it an enjoyable experience!

Llywelyn's Pub

Sorry this is going out so late. Almost all of the places that I called were closed on Mondays. At any rate, it's time again to dine together.

I've never been to this location and if the food's anything like their CWE one, it's very tasty and Welsh. It's also going to be busy, so it's imperative that you RSVP!
