Omar's Italian & Mediterranean Cuisine

Omar's serves up a curious blend of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine - pizza with Greek lamb is a prime example of this fusion. For the purists out there, Omar's has unfused items, too.

The Vine Mediterranean Cafe and Market

The Vine serves up fresh, delicious food from the Mediterranean - classics like shawarma, hummus, falagel, and delicious pastries called mana-ish. The service is friendly and the smell and taste are not to be missed!

Sahara Restaurant

Hopefully, you've had a chance to recover from the holidays and are recharged and ready to eat again. Sahara's a Mediterranean restaurant that offers traditional food - take a look at their online menu. The food's gotten good reviews, so make sure you bring your appetite!

Bici Cafe

Bici's a new Mediterranean place that opened up where La Piazza used to be at Jackson and Pershing. We went to La Piazza back in 2002, and it changed hands after that, and now it's obviously a new concept entirely. I'm looking forward to checking it out!

Grand Mediterranean Kabob Café

Because of Labor Day, we're going to be going out on Tuesday rather than Monday. The review looks good, and none of us have ever been there. It's closed on Mondays, so this seems like an ideal opportunity to check it out. Join us!

Apollonia Restaurant

This place was just reviewed in the Post-Dispatch and sounded fantastic. They've been cooking their "homestyle cooking" for 2,500 years! By now, they should have it perfected and ready for our palates. You'll have to put on your flame-retardant suits when the Saganaki rolls out.

St. Louis Coffee Oasis & Mediterranean Cafe

This place has what I think may be the best gyro in town, and the dessert
was fantastic too. Don't miss this once-in-a-dinner-club opportunity.

Neither Stef nor I have been able to get in touch with the restaurant,
which could mean that their power's out. So let's meet up there and if
they are not open, we'll pick some place close and improvise.

Cafe Natasha's Kabob International

This place is really tasty, or so we've heard. Join us and enjoy "unusual quality, tasteful offerings, honest preparations and genuine value." Don't forget that while "Taste Is King, Garlic Is A Servant." I could just keep going on quoting their web site forever, but you can read it yourself.
