Cusanelli's

This is a member pick - thanks for the suggestion, Karen! So far it looks like it's scored a perfect 10, though admittedly there's only one vote. Let's try it out together and see what we think of it, shall we?

Mi Ranchito

This is a brand new Mexican place that opened north of the Loop at Kingsland and Vernon. I don't think there are any reviews of it yet so I prefer to think of this as an experimental meal, entering uncharted culinary territory. Come join us!

Thai Nivas Cafe

Brian's back for a few days and requested Thai. Apparently he hasn't been able to find a good Thai restaurant in Texas and has been craving the delicate flavors, the subtle mix of salty, sweet, spicy, and tangy that only Thai cuisine provides! (See the attached picture for an example of Thai food if you're not familiar with it.)

Pestalozzi Place

First, the time changed, so from now until it springs forward, we'll be eating at 7:00 pm. I don't know what difference that really makes since it's already dark by 5pm, but that's how we've done things in the past.
You know, tradition and all.

This place has gotten some great write-ups, and additionally Crystal's boss went there. I don't know about you, but a recommendation from the boss tends to say *something* to me. What does it say to you? Join us on Monday and let's discuss this and other topics!

The Scottish Arms

Because of the Labor Day holiday, Dinner Club has been pushed back one day. This also gives us a chance to try somewhere that's normally closed on Mondays. Some of us have been there before (several times) and the brunch is a real treat. Dinner looks to be every bit as tasty, judging by the reviews. So please come out and join us as we try a little taste of Scotland together.

Ari's Greek-American Cuisine

Ari's is a Greek-St.Louis-Italian-American restaurant and features
hyphens with every dish (not true). From the review, it looked pleasantly
surprising, and not outrageous in terms of price, so let's go check it
out.

Feraro's Jersey Style Pizza

Stef and Jonathan were in Soulard not long ago and spotted this place and walked inside. Not only did it smell delicious, but it also served pizza *BY-THE-SLICE*, a rarity in St. Louis! Let's all go and encourage this relative newcomer to the STL pizza scene to keep up the good work.

Caribbean Sun

Don't be alarmed - because this coming Monday is July 4th, we're going to go out on the 5th instead. This is a perfect opportunity to try some place different that's never open on Mondays.

This is a fairly new Jamaican place, and the review sounds great. What's not to like about tasty food and good company, mon? Please join us!

Uptown Cafe

Brian and Jonathan founded this group many years ago to meet some new people and
explore the cuisine of the area. Thanks to his work and dedication - and
of course your attendance - it's flourishing today. Sadly, this coming
Monday marks the end of an era as it will be Brian's last time as a Dinner
Club regular since he's heading off to Fort Worth. Let's send him off in
grand Dinner Club fashion - with great food and great company!

This place looks to have a very similar menu to Cafe Manhattan, and it's
owned by the same people. What this means to you: fantastic sundaes,
malts, shakes, and meals, and not a lot of room.

Senor Pique

Senor Pique had a great article written in the Post-Dispatch and it sounds like a unique taste of fine Mexican cuisine. We've not been to this restaurant before, but we have been here when it was Maharaja. If the address sounds familiar, that's why.

Vietnam Palace

This is marketed as St. Louis' newest Vietnamese restaurant, and also as being open under new management, so let's go check it out. The juxtaposition of "we're brand new" with "not really, we're just under new management" is sure to lend some intrigue to our evening!

Schlafly Bottleworks

Some of you have no doubt been here before. They serve food with fine local and regionally grown ingredients - and naturally, fresh Schlafly beer. They have it all, from cold sandwiches and salads to pizzas and hot entrees to STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING! OK, I'm done.

Wei Hong Seafood Restaurant & Bakery

I pass this place all the time, and it looks (and sounds, from the reviews) to be really interesting. If you're not a seafood lover, you should be OK as they have some meat and vegetarian options as well. Let's check Wei Hong out!

Cafe Natasha's Kabob International

This place is really tasty, or so we've heard. Join us and enjoy "unusual quality, tasteful offerings, honest preparations and genuine value." Don't forget that while "Taste Is King, Garlic Is A Servant." I could just keep going on quoting their web site forever, but you can read it yourself.

Mi Lupita

This Mexican restaurant comes highly recommended to me, so let's check it out, shall we? The only problem is that they don't take reservations. So... please RSVP if you'll be coming so we can give the restaurant a semi-accurate count. I will use this information to secure us a table!

Dewey's Pizza

Dewey's is a new addition to the Kirkwood dinner scene, serving up pizzas, salads, and calzones. I have it on good authority that the salads are great, so I can only assume the rest of it is good.
