Don't be alarmed - because this coming Monday is July 4th, we're going to go out on the 5th instead. This is a perfect opportunity to try some place different that's never open on Mondays.

De Palm Tree

De Palm Tree is a relatively new Jamaican place that has delicious jerk items and a very laid back feel. There are sandwiches as well as more exotic dishes like Ackees and Salt Fish (Jamaica's national dish - don't spoil the surprise by reading about it online, now!). The restaurant is fairly small, so it's important that you RSVP so we can give them time to rearrange the inside of their space to accomodate us.
